Another blue sky day. I left the key to the house under a stone as directed and supplemented my nut breakfast with a coffee and a couple of yoghurt from the village shop. It was a steady 72 km to Liepaja on a good road. I saw the old wooden wooden bridge which crosses the River Riva at Labrags along with forests interspersed with arable farmland. The Baltic popped into view intermittently as I neared Liepaja.

Liepaja is pleasant to walk around. It has character with many traditional old wooden buildings. So I had a stroll, ate dinner and welcomed an early night.
